Welcome
Every building project is special. Whether it is a 5,000 S.F. Fire Station, a new Elementary School campus, or an eighteen story High-Rise building, each project has stakeholders that believe it is an important project. And those stakeholders want the project to be given the attention and care that they would give it if they had the skills to accomplish the design themselves.
That is why design professionals are hired. They understand the design process; have the knowledge to determine the equipment and systems best suited to the project; the skills necessary to assemble a complete and accurate set of construction documents; and the experience to help an Owner move a project from conception to completion in a professional and effective manner. As a team, the design professionals bring together the knowledge and expertise to transform the stakeholders vision into a constructable set of drawings and specifications.
Sometimes, though, the design team needs specialized knowledge and expertise that the Architect and Electrical Engineer may not have. Technology and low-voltage systems -- often refered to as "communications systems" -- required for modern buildings fall into this category. The complexity of these systems, and their ubiquitous nature in modern buildings, creates a situtation where having a dedicated, knowledgable Consultant as part of the design team solves many issues that might otherwise go unaddressed.
That is where Technology Research & Consulting, Inc. (TR&C) can help. We have the specialized knowledge and expertise to not only design the various communications systems but the skills to effectively communicate with the Owner, the Owner's technical staff, and other design team members in a way that ensures the construction documents include complete, accurate, and fully coordinated information on the required communications systems. As a member of the design team, TR&C understands that every project is special and we work hard to assist both the Architect and the project Owner in realizing that vision.
